Hi, I’m Ali, I’m 25 and I’m an accountant.

I have completed all professional exams to become an Associate of Chartered Accountants (ACA). I am currently creating accounting videos and content to help students understand accounting principles and how to implement this knowledge into exam questions and real life.

I came up with the concept of the videos due to my own personal experience when studying my undergraduate in BSc Accounting. My lecturers and tutors focused on the technical side of accounting (IAS and IFRS Standards) however never explained an approach and technique to these questions. This made studying confusing and frustrating; flicking through a 500 page textbook for an answer to a question wasn’t an efficient way to use my time!

Over years of studying and tutoring sessions I made an approach to all the questions that were examinable that I wish I knew from the very start which is what I aim to share. These exam techniques made accounting for me more enjoyable, easier to understand and led me to pass 100% of my exams first time and average over 70% in professional exams.
